Advertising Sales: Jay Morgan
e-mail: jmorgan@napma.com

Jay Morgan has been a member of the NAPMA staff, since 1999, when he started as a part-time shipping clerk. After two years, he was promoted to warehouse manager, and continued in that position until March 2004.

He was then promoted to Advertising Services Director for Martial Arts Professional Magazine. In that capacity, Jay serves as an important liaison between advertisers and the design and production of the publication.

He helps advertisers through the ad placement process, answering their questions and communicating with them regularly. He then works closely with Shannon Gray, MAPro designer, to develop the ad manifest for every issue, making sure all advertisers’ ad materials arrive on time, are complete, and then provided to Shannon for placement on requested pages and page positions.

Jay continues to communicate with advertisers after every issue of MAPro is shipped, checking that they've seen their ads and are satisfied with their placements and reproduction. Jay also works closely with the financial staff to prepare and manage advertising invoices.

Jay also serves as a NAPMA member representative, explaining NAPMA membership programs and their benefits to prospective members. He also assists NAPMA members with their questions, requests and suggestions.
