The NAPMA Professional Package: The Foundation On Which Any Instructor Can Build A School

The NAPMA Professional Package is fundamental to your success. Think of it as your foundation on which to grow and operate a professional, top-performing and prosperous school. Every month, you receive basic continuing education and marketing support to increase enrollments, improve retention, advance your students, develop your staff, manage your operations and create the future you envision for yourself!

You’re invited to take a tour of this month’s Professional Package. Once you see what you are missing every month—and for just $99—you’ll feel compelled to click on that big “Join NAPMA Now!” box to the right.

Make Your School A Lean, Clean Teaching Machine!

Now that your school has settled into this year’s routine, it’s time to root out complacency and ho-hum attitudes, and “clean house”—it’s time for your students and staff to rev their engines and give 110%!

Start with a school cleanup, repair and refurbishing project. This may sound like a simplistic idea, but involving your staff in the physical task of cleaning and refurbishing the school is a good way to help them focus on revitalizing the spiritual and mental part of your school. Improving the look of your school won’t go unnoticed by students, parents and visitors, either. It’s something you should do at least once a year, anyway.

Explain to your staff that the clean-up project is a metaphor for the individual challenges each of them face to improve their performance and productivity during the remainder of the year. Tell them that they must re-dedicate themselves to the mission of the school and their responsibility as martial arts instructors. Emphasize that their commitment has a direct effect on everyone’s future success.

Expecting more from your staff (and students) is part of what makes martial arts different and special—“What do you think we’re teaching here, how to bake cupcakes and knit doilies?!
