As Leslee Workman, NAPMA graphic designer, created last month’s campaign targeted at adult women, she also designed another concept with the same photograph that was too good to discard—so it’s included in this month’s package.
Leslee has cleverly created an ad that looks like the cover of a fictitious women’s magazine, Martial Arts for Women. The photograph of the young woman in her gi in a fashionable pose lends itself to this “out-of-the-box” concept that is sure to attract more women to your school.
It may not be the “tough-guy” image you like to project, but it is a design and message that will connect with adult women and help to make your phone ring—and isn’t that the real goal? You can be a tough guy in the classroom.
