NAPMA accomplishes its mission, purpose and objectives
as a monthly membership organization. There is no membership contract or long-term commitment. Members are billed monthly for their memberships. Please refer to the Membership Information Page in the FAQs Section of this Web site, or contact a NAPMA representative at 1-800-973-6734.

Martial arts instructors and school owners of any style, background or affiliation are welcomed to join NAPMA. NAPMA is justly proud of its ability to serve this great diversity of professionals with benefits and programs that can be implemented, as provided, or modified for specific curriculums.

One of the most important NAPMA member benefits is free phone consultation with NAPMA representatives, top school owners and NAPMA President Rob Colasanti. NAPMA consultants help prospective and current members evaluate their schools' goals and performance to determine the best type of membership to help them "create the futures they envision."

NAPMA never dictates how a member should organize his school, teach his students or train his staff. Our purpose is to help each member operate a club or school on his or her terms. Some instructors prefer to teach part-time as a volunteer at a community center or operate a small school, while, for others, martial arts is their full-time career, requiring a large school and student body, multiple schools and a standard business operation.

There are three NAPMA memberships:

• Option #1: The monthly NAPMA Professional Membership
• Option #2: The bi-monthly NAPMA Squared Membership
• Option #3: The NAPMA Maximum Impact Membership,
  Option #3: which is a combination of Option #1 and #2 (at a discounted price).

Martial Arts Professional Magazine, NAPMA's flagship publication, focuses primarily on martial arts business topics, featuring interviews with martial arts legends and international movie stars; leading business, sales, marketing and personal development authors and speakers; and top school owners whose success stories inspire members to grow their schools. Martial Arts Professional is a four-color publication, supported by paid advertising and distributed to 20,000 members, subscribers and industry leaders.

NAPMA NOW Magazine is a members-only publication that provides a series of business, marketing, instructor education and curriculum reports with proven strategies, tactics and content. It also provides a complete "How To" section of each month's marketing campaigns to help members use these materials effectively and efficiently.

Every month, the NAPMA creative staff develops and designs comprehensive marketing and publicity campaigns exclusively for NAPMA members.

An 11 x 17 four-color motivational poster that can be mounted and framed for display in member schools. Each poster includes motivational images and messages to drive students toward their goals and help members maximize the retention of their students.

The Multimedia Success System is a three-disc set of additional support materials.

• The Sounds of Success CD features the audio version of many of the cover-story interviews in Martial Arts Professional Magazine. Conducted by NAPMA President Rob Colasanti, Sounds of Success interviews have included Jackie Chan, Jean Claude Van Damme, Evander Holyfield, Zig Ziglar, Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Joe Lewis, Jeff Smith and many others.
• NAPMA Innovations DVD features three to five video segments with specific martial arts skills instruction, high-energy drills and other curriculum materials that members can use in their classes immediately. Segments also include tours of exceptional schools and other exclusive video programs.
• The Media Master CD-ROM includes digital files of all marketing and promotional campaigns created for that month's Professional Package. Members are able to download files for ads, flyers, postcards, etc. and customize them with their school logos and contact information. The Media Master CD-ROM also includes all of the Reports in NAPMA NOW in PDF format plus much more.

Option #2: The Bi-Monthly NAPMA Squared Membership

NAPMA also offers the bi-monthly NAPMA Squared Membership, an advanced, professional education package of printed, audio and video materials, for school owners whose goal is to maximize the entrepreneurial opportunities that the martial arts industry offers. These are instructors who want to grow beyond 300 students and open multiple locations.

Option #3: The NAPMA Maximum Impact Membership

During late 2006, NAPMA introduced Maximum Impact, a comprehensive membership that includes both the monthly NAPMA Professional Package and bi-monthly NAPMA Squared Packages. A Maximum Impact membership is prices less than the combined fees of the two packages.
